This is the on-line version of the GEO-3 Data Compendium. It provides easy access to the national, sub-regional, regional and global statistical data sets used for UNEP's third Global Environment Outlook (GEO-3) report. These consistent data sets are derived from primary Data Sources around the world. They underpin much of the state of environment assessment undertaken for the report, and have been used as the basis for many of the graphics as well.

The Data Compendium is also available on CD-ROM and as a printed publication. Due to space, constraints the printed version does not hold a complete set of national level data.
